A Real-life pop star
experience for Sydney kids
Professional
musician and music producer, John Bennetts is offering kids customised
“Pop Idol Parties” to allow aspiring singers and musicians, an opportunity to
record and have a professionally produced CD with their friends.
 John,
a music professional for 25 years toured the world and recorded as drummer with
award winning band, Eurogliders. They dominated the charts in the 1980’s
with ten “top 10” hits and a number one single.
For the Pop Idol Parties, John comes to
your home and cuts a CD single staring the party boy or girl and their guests.
Pop Idol Parties can be themed to suit the
group’s talents including “Popstars” for aspiring singers, The Ensemble” for
musically talented, “Stand up Comedy” for jokers, “Recitals” for poets,
“Percussion Party” for the rhythmically inclined and “Birthday Rap”, an original
version of the classic standard with a part for each performer to pay tribute to
the birthday host.
The most popular however, no doubt with kids
being inspired by
programmes such as Australian Idol and X Factor, is the “Pop Star” party.
 On arrival guests gather for a pre-production
meeting. Each song is rehearsed then recorded at least once to ensure a good
result. The party guests get to hear the song when they
finish each recording. This is followed by a pop-star photo session, where
photographs are taken for the front cover and inside sleeve of the album.
To keep the pop-star experience realistic,
the kids finish by signing a mass of autographs which they can decorate as a
piece of creative artwork. The grand performance is then taken
back to John’s studio where he performs his post-production magic. Each
guest receives their own CD of the recording session featuring their photos on
the CD cover within 10 working days.
Complete party packages are available to suit
both large and small groups. All include a CD for every participant.
The finished CD’s are a
precious piece of memorabilia that friends and family will enjoy for years to
come.
